HIMA FOR RNC NATIONAL COMMITTEEWOMAN
I was born into an orthodox Hindu family. When I was 16 years old, God chose me and I accepted Jesus into my heart. My conversion was shunned by my family and the society and I faced severe persecution. Through my trials, God built my faith and built my character. God was with me when everyone else disowned me.
I thank God for carrying me through the storm and refining me as gold through fire. I learnt at a very young age to be able to stand alone and stand my ground. There was no turning back. I share my faith testimony with many believers currently being persecuted to encourage them to lean on God and to taste and see that the Lord is good.
I serve as a nursery leader in my church and used to volunteer as a women's prison outreach volunteer.
I am a legal immigrant from India. I have an MBA in HR and Finance and a Diploma in Software Technology. I founded a company in 2011 that caters to the technology staffing needs of the Fortune 1000 clients. My business has been awarded the distinction of “50 Fastest Women-Owned Companies in America” for 3 out of the past 4 years, 2020, 2023, and 2024. My company also had the unique distinction of being listed in the Inc Magazines top 5000 companies of America since 2018.
Along with being an angel investor and a venture capitalist, I own other businesses. I sit on the board of ITServe Alliance (the largest group of IT companies in the United States) and serve as the organization’s PAC Director. I am also a member of YPO (formerly Young Presidents Organization), a worldwide leadership community of chief executives.
I am a community leader and am part of several outreach organizations. I am a leader in the church nursery ministry and have served as an outreach volunteer at the Huron Valley Women's Prison.
I am a conservative Christian, a born-again believer from a Hindu family. I live in Northville with my family and we attend Oak Pointe Church in Novi. I have 3 children: oldest son is in medical school and is a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Airforce; younger son in pre-med at the University of Michigan; and my youngest child is a senior in high school.
My involvement in the Republican Party started in 2015. President Trump caught my attention and I got hooked every since. I voted for him in 2016 and wanted to get more involved. I ran for and got elected as a precinct delegate in 2018 and became a grassroots activist.
In 2020, I was trained by the Election Integrity Fund (now called Election Integrity Force) and the MIGOP to be a poll watcher and a poll challenger. On November 2nd, the day of the election, I was asked to work at the TCF Building (now called the Huntington Place). I was determined to expose the incompetence, the irregularities, and the bullying of the Republican poll challengers that I personally witnessed. I call the experience as "political baptism" and I have been working hard to ensure we have free and fair elections and Election Integrity ever since.
I testified regarding my observations to the Michigan State House Oversight Committee alongside Mr. Rudy Giuliani. As a result of my testimony, I received personal and professional backlash. People threatened to destroy my business and made my family feel unsafe. Instead of backing down, I decided to charge forward and continue to fight for what I believe in.
I served on the Wayne 11th Congressional District Republican Committee as a Executive Member and the Treasurer from 2021-2022.
I am the Chair of the 6th Congressional District Republican Committee.
Hima’s business has been awarded the distinction of “50 Fastest Women-Owned Companies in America” in 2020, 2023, and 2024.
